Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students with diverse needs. This full-time, full-school-year itinerant role encompasses three high school sites, with the largest caseload based at Mountain View H.S. You'll collaborate with school staff and families to provide speech-language services to approximately 60-70 students, ranging from mild articulation challenges to more intensive needs, including adaptive cluster and ASD supports. This position welcomes Clinical Fellows and is open to considering experienced SLPAs, working under certified supervision.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow eligibility
- Active, standard certification as required by the state
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience in a school setting preferred; open to supervision of SLPAs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students with mild to severe disabilities
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Work principally at Mountain View H.S. with additional responsibilities at Vista and MCAT
- Maintain accurate records for a caseload of 60-70 students
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams for student support and IEP processes
- Adapt therapy approaches for students with ASD and those in adaptive clusters
- Consult with educators, families, and related service providers
