A full-time position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Life Skills Teacher within a K-12 educational setting located in Moscow, ID. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY), with an immediate start date and concluding on June 3rd. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage a caseload ranging from 30 to 40 students, serving individuals from Pre-K through age 21.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services aligned with best practices and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to life skills development for students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student outcomes to ensure goal attainment and compliance with relevant regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathology is required
  • Experience working within school settings, particularly across K-12 and extended age ranges (PreK-21)
  • Strong skills in life skills education and interventions for students with developmental and communication challenges
  • Ability to manage a substantial caseload while maintaining high-quality individualized service delivery
