Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active SLP-CCC licensure
- State certification to practice as an SLP in North Carolina
- Prior experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to conduct effective assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver individualized and group therapy
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to a diverse elementary school caseload
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Work in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reevaluation reports
- Offer guidance and promote communication skills within the school environment
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to holistic student support
