Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC license required
- North Carolina licensure (or eligibility for state licensure)
- Previous experience working with elementary-age students preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to design and implement effective, student-centered therapy
- Collaborative mindset for working with staff, families, and other specialists
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to assigned caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents/guardians to support student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide guidance and resources for classroom teachers
