Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Current state SLP licensure and ability to meet all requirements for school-based practice.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in a public or charter school setting.
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and case management.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language and communication assessments for students with a range of needs.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans tailored to each student’s goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective support and integration within the classroom environment.
  • Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and provide regular feedback to families and school staff.
  • Support students in developing skills such as articulation, fluency, language processing, and social communication.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines.
