School Speech Language Pathologist - Monroe, North Carolina

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates also considered
- Previous school-based experience highly valued
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement evidence-based therapies
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations, including those with mild to moderate communication needs
- Strong skills in collaboration, documentation, and time management
What You’ll Do:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-age students
- Develop and deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care
- Write and maintain progress reports, treatment plans, and IEP documentation
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Provide training or consultation for educational staff as needed regarding communication strategies
