What we’re seeking:
- Current or eligible Virginia State SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience or interest in working within school environments and with K-12 populations
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy and intervention strategies to a diverse caseload
- Reliable, team-oriented, and organized professionals
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to a diverse K-12 student population
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary school staff, parents, and administrators
- Maintain accurate therapy logs, documentation, and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Develop and implement interventions to support student communication and language development
- Participate in IEP meetings and related staffing as needed
