Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based position in Mobile, AL for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is an excellent opportunity for a licensed SLP who is passionate about supporting students’ communication development and academic success within a school setting.
We are looking for a collaborative and student-focused professional who is committed to delivering high-quality speech and language services to a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Alabama SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA CCCs preferred (Clinical Fellows may be considered depending on district needs)
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students across a range of ages and needs
