Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Minneapolis, MN
Make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills while working in a supportive middle school environment. This contract opportunity for a talented Speech-Language Pathologist offers a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week) and the chance to serve at a split-site campus, providing variety and engagement throughout the school year.
Your expertise will support students in grades 6-8, helping them overcome speech and language challenges and succeed academically and socially. The anticipated assignment runs from September 8, 2026, to June 10, 2027, giving you the chance to influence students’ progress across an entire school year.
Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota SLP License and appropriate professional certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting student growth and achieving IEP goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to middle school students
- Complete assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Contribute to IEP meetings, eligibility, and reevaluation processes
