Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Lakeville, MN
A Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for a part-time position (2 to 2 1/2 days per week) providing evaluation and therapy services in school-based settings located in the St. Paul and Lakeville, MN areas. The role primarily supports K-8 students, with a caseload of approximately 12 students, focusing on evaluation support and direct therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy services addressing speech, language, and communication goals in a school environment
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Deliver services that incorporate evidence-based practices suitable for pediatrics and school-aged children
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with eligibility to provide services in schools
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations and delivering therapy in both in-person and teletherapy formats is a plus
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and provide evaluation support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
