A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Lakeville, MN, offering a contract role within an educational setting. This role supports students’ speech and language needs, including those in center-based programming, with an active Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) school certification required.
Position 1: Elementary School SLP
- Location: Castle Elementary, Oakdale, MN
- Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday, 8:15 am to 4:15 pm
- Caseload: Approximately 65 students
- Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy to students, implement individualized programs, and collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Licensure: Active MDE School Certification
- Contract duration: ASAP through the end of the school year
- Note: Part-time hours may be available for a vocational SLP
Position 2: Birth-to-2 Early Intervention SLP
- Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Caseload: Around 12 children served in 15-18 home visits per week
- Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays served on Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), case management, and family collaboration
- Contract duration: ASAP through June 30, 2026
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and certification (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school-based or early intervention settings
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
