Key Qualifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current, valid state license to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred
- Proficient in conducting evaluations, writing and implementing IEPs
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage caseloads
- Collaborative spirit with excellent communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students with mild to moderate speech and language needs
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student learning goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing student progress discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy, assessments, and student performance
- Stay current on best practices and compliance with all state and federal guidelines
