Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid North Carolina SLP License required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to design, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students according to IEPs and school guidelines
  • Assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for students with speech, language, or communication disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Document student performance, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Offer consultative support and professional recommendations to staff and families as needed

This position runs from August 17th, 2026 to June 4th, 2027 and is structured as a 4-day work week, totaling 30 hours—allowing for a focused approach while supporting work-life balance within a contract format.
