Ideal candidates possess:
- Active or eligible SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY support
- Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally within educational settings
- Skills in developing, implementing, and evaluating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication abilities to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in delivering both on-site and teletherapy services as needed
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
- Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and progress reporting efficiently
In this contract position, you will:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students, from evaluation through recommendations
- Create and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Support students with a diverse range of diagnoses and communication challenges
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with all professional and district standards
- Consult and collaborate with educators, school personnel, and families to foster student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Utilize teletherapy platforms for remote service delivery when required
