Speech Language Pathologist in Midland, GA

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- An adaptable, collaborative approach to working with diverse student populations
- Ability to conduct assessments and develop treatment plans, both independently and as part of an educational team
Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing skills
- Design and implement individualized therapy programs to meet each child’s unique needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to integrate therapeutic goals into students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed progress notes and necessary documentation in line with district and state guidelines
- Attend meetings and professionally communicate student progress and needs
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and parents for at-home language support
