Travel School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Middletown, Pennsylvania
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide specialized support to elementary students in a dynamic school environment located in Middletown, PA. This travel assignment covers the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year, from ASAP through June 4, 2026, with a typical workday from 8:10 AM to 3:40 PM.
The caseload includes 34 elementary students, all on the autism spectrum, requiring targeted communication assistance to help them achieve academic and social success. The role involves a balanced mix of assessment, individual and group intervention, collaboration with educators and families, as well as ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and deliver tailored intervention plans to support communication development
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain documentation and compliance with school and district policies
- Monitor and report on student progress to inform ongoing treatment planning
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
