Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP (CCC or CF) or SLPA
- Experience working with elementary-aged children
- Knowledge of school-based and pediatric therapy best practices
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
- Flexibility and a collaborative mindset
- Previous school experience a plus but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social success
- Document all services in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute input for goal setting, and provide progress monitoring
- Offer consultative support and resources for teachers and families
- Adapt interventions to best reach each child’s communication needs
- Availability for Extended School Year (ESY) program support as needed
