Make a positive impact every day supporting K-12 students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll utilize your expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders within a school environment. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and students to create individualized education plans, track progress, and foster a supportive learning experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with K-12 students preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage caseloads and maintain timely documentation
- Passion for helping students achieve their communication goals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students K-12
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans based on individual needs
- Use evidence-based interventions to address a range of communication disorders
- Work with other school professionals to integrate strategies into the classroom
- Track student progress, adjust plans as needed, and communicate updates with parents and staff
- Complete required documentation and participate in IEP meetings
