Qualifications:
- Current state license in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, but talented new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt to different caseloads and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to relocate for the duration of the contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in school-aged children
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in line with state and federal regulations
- Work closely with educators, parents, and support staff to monitor progress and adjust therapy as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and student progress
- Support and participate in IEP meetings, case conferences, and multi-disciplinary team discussions
