Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a collaborative team setting
- Willingness to relocate for the duration of the contract
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, IEPs, and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated student support
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student services
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support speech and language development
