Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active CCC-SLP certification
- Current state licensure (or eligibility prior to start)
- Previous experience serving K-12 students in a school-based setting
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to create individualized and group therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Solid understanding of IEP procedures and educational documentation
Primary Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals and IEP requirements
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with educational staff
- Partner with teachers and families, offering resources and strategies for student success in and out of the classroom
- Provide direct therapy and monitor progress to ensure measurable student growth
