School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Salem, New Hampshire

Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students at the middle and high school levels as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, onsite position spans the academic year, beginning August 24, 2026, and concluding June 17, 2027. Candidates will collaborate with dedicated teams, providing direct speech and language therapy, evaluations, and developing targeted interventions Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate skill in adapting therapeutic approaches for adolescents, delivering high-quality services in a dynamic school environment. The caseload consists of a range of student needs, offering a meaningful chance to guide communication progress and success during formative years.
Key Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP setting, preferably with middle and high school students
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and case management
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, special educators, administrators, and families
- Completion of district fingerprinting requirements
- Ability to participate in a virtual (Zoom) interview as the next step
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for eligible students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans
- Document session notes, progress, and compliance according to school and district standards
- Serve as a member of interdisciplinary IEP teams; communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, staff, and families
