School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Akron, Ohio

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- State licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology in Ohio
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to develop and modify individualized treatment plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify speech, language, and communication difficulties
- Develop and implement IEPs in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based techniques
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress, assessments, and services provided
- Collaborate with teachers and families to integrate speech and language goals into classroom routines
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to professional development initiatives
