School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Menifee, California
Step into a dynamic contract role supporting students' communication development at both an Adult Transition Program and a high school campus. This in-person opportunity begins November 3, 2026, and continues through December 18, 2026, with the possibility of extending to cover a second leave. Working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, you’ll provide valuable services in a school-based setting, guiding students as they build critical speech and language skills to succeed academically and socially.
Skills and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active ASHA CCCs or eligible CFY applicants encouraged to apply
- State licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Prior pediatric experience—school or relevant healthcare setting a plus
- Comfortable traveling between two school sites
- Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of communication disorders
- Excellent organizational, report writing, and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services to students across both school sites
- Assess student needs and create individualized treatment plans
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and professional standards
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, and families to support student progress
- Act as a resource for staff and families regarding students’ communication and language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
