As a key advocate for student development, you will:
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a valid Maryland SLP license
- Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Bring at least one year of experience practicing in a school or pediatric setting (preferred)
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills
- Exhibit proficiency in assessment, intervention, and IEP documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech/language therapy to a diverse caseload spanning elementary and middle school students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to IEP meetings
- Develop tailored treatment plans aligned with individual student needs and district standards
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff to support goals and maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines
Assignment Details
- Full-time contract: 37.5 hours per week
- Work onsite within a welcoming school community
- Consistent support from district and agency partners
