Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school-based settings, especially with elementary and middle school populations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and related service staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team
- Deliver direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support IEP development
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of progress and services provided
- Educate families on strategies and resources to support their child’s goals
- Contribute to staff training and consultation as needed
