Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Maryland SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience with school-based caseloads, especially in elementary and middle school settings
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Adaptability and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
What You’ll Do:
- Serve students at one elementary and one middle school, managing a varied and engaging caseload
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Deliver direct therapy and consultation services, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student progress
- Maintain thorough records and comply with state and federal documentation guidelines
- Provide progress reports and participate in IEP meetings as required
