Speech Language Pathologist in Mechanicsville, MD

Key Qualifications:
- Current Maryland SLP License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience delivering speech therapy services within K-8 school settings is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students at an elementary and a middle school
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals and foster inclusive communication environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team activities
