Qualifications:
- Current Texas SLP CCC credential is required
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and experienced SLPs alike
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and IEP development for K-12 populations
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
- Collaborative approach to teaming with educators and caregivers
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals within the classroom setting
- Provide direct intervention, monitor progress, and adapt strategies as needed
- Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Offer consultation and training to teachers and parents to support generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
