School Speech Language Pathologist - Mckinney, TX

This school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position offers a diverse, engaging setting split between a junior high, elementary, and potentially high school environments, covering colleagues’ maternity leaves. You’ll begin as soon as possible and remain through mid-November, collaborating with students, staff, and families right on campus.

Qualifications:
- Active, valid SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable to diverse age groups from elementary to high school
Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled speech-language services in line with IEP goals and district policies
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and interpret assessment results for educational planning
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely records, progress reports, and Medicaid billing, as needed
- Support students both individually and in groups across different school buildings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility, goal development, and progress monitoring
- Utilize engaging, evidence-based therapy approaches to foster student participation and growth
