Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- State licensure (or eligibility to obtain) as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in school settings preferred, especially with middle school-aged students
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable utilizing technology for therapy and documentation, with openness to virtual service delivery if needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to 6th-grade students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress reporting
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support students both one-on-one and in group settings
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school policies
