Preferred Background and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of an accredited SLPA program
- Active state licensure/certification as SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLPA
- Experience in pediatric settings, especially K-12 schools, is highly valued
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote intervention techniques
- Strong interpersonal abilities for effective communication with students, educators, and families
- Skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Commitment to professional growth and student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and evaluations for children with diverse communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services in person and via teletherapy as appropriate
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
