Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with speech and language difficulties
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
- Provide targeted therapy sessions, both onsite and virtually, to address specific communication goals
- Maintain detailed, accurate records and regularly monitor progress
- Partner with teachers, support staff, and families to promote holistic care
- Offer guidance and education to help families reinforce therapy strategies
- Attend team meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Eligibility for, or possession of, current state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Direct experience with pediatric or school-aged clients highly valued
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse populations
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
- SLPA candidates may also be considered if licensed and experienced in school environments
