Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current or eligible licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Indiana
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based experience is advantageous, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, educators, and families
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational growth and participate in IEP meetings
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide reports as required
- Offer guidance and support to teachers, staff, and parents regarding strategies to facilitate communication in the classroom
- Participate in professional development activities to maintain best practices
