Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed or certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working in school settings, especially with early childhood populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs
- Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs and therapy plans
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to early childhood students
- Assess, develop, and update individualized education plans for each student
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and provide timely documentation
- Collaborate regularly with a supportive SLPA already on staff, along with other school professionals and families
- Engage in team meetings and contribute to developing best practices for student success
- Offer guidance and resources to classroom teachers as needed
