School Speech Therapist | Marshall, Michigan
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year, providing essential services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The role offers hands-on experience working onsite in a K-12 educational setting located in Marshall, MI, with a contract running from the start date ASAP through the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students across all K-12 grade levels.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Maintain accurate records and document progress in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in professional development activities and team meetings to support student success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Michigan state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (MI Licensed SLP) is required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred.
- Experience working within school settings servicing K-12 students is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
