Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs are welcome
- Prior experience in a school setting is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organization and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and language challenges
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both one-on-one and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster a supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Offer guidance and education to families and staff on best practices in speech and language development
