School Speech Language Pathologist - Atlanta, Georgia

Passionate about helping students communicate and thrive? Dedicated speech-language pathologists are needed for contract positions with schools in the Atlanta metro area for the 2026/2027 academic year. Interviewing is underway for both full-time (35 hours per week) and a handful of part-time opportunities, with assignments typically at one campus. You’ll support students from preschool through high school, working alongside committed educators in vibrant learning communities.
Opportunities are available at a variety of locations, including early learning academies, elementary schools, charter schools, and specialized needs programs. Bilingual SLPs are especially encouraged to apply and may be eligible for assignments at specific sites.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current and active Georgia Department of Education certification
- Valid Georgia SLP license
- Experience supporting school-aged children preferred, though strong new graduates are considered
- Knowledge of IEP processes and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Comfort working independently on-site (this is not a remote/VOCO position)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech and language abilities using standardized and informal assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams
- Provide direct therapy services and consult with teachers and parents
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress and service delivery
- Advocate for students’ needs and support positive learning environments
