This opportunity is for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to provide maternity leave coverage in a school setting within the northern Atlanta area. The positions are full-time, supporting elementary-aged students with speech and language needs, spanning one school location each in Acworth and Woodstock, GA. The contract runs from ASAP through the end of the school year in May 2026.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Georgia DOE certification and SLP license are mandatory.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school environment.
- This role is not open to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
- Availability Monday through Friday for a 37.5-hour workweek.
- Previous school-based speech therapy experience is preferred.
Location:
- Northern Atlanta area, specifically one position in Acworth and the other in Woodstock, GA.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students while following individualized education plans.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to support student progress.
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with all school guidelines and regulations.
- Provide maternity leave coverage, ensuring continuity of speech services.
