A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive services within a K-12 school setting. This position offers a full-time 40-hour workweek, with part-time candidates also considered. The role supports elementary, middle, and high school students, addressing a broad range of speech and language needs in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
  • Support students with diverse communication needs in compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with other school-based SLPs and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to develop and implement effective treatment programs.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with educators, parents, and related service providers.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or in progress.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with K-12 school systems and pediatric speech-language pathology caseloads.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within a school environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Location and Schedule: This position is located in Lawrenceville, GA, approximately 20 minutes north of Atlanta and 20 minutes west of Decatur. The contract covers the current school year (CSY) with opportunities for full-time or part-time hours based on candidate availability. Medicaid billing is not required for this role.
