Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Suwanee, GA
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide support across elementary, middle, and high school levels in a K-12 educational setting located near Suwanee, GA. This position offers full-time hours (40 hours per week), with part-time schedules considered for qualified candidates seeking flexibility within the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students at varying developmental stages within elementary, middle, and high school settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary.
- Work alongside other SLPs and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for comprehensive support.
- Maintain compliance with educational regulations and facility policies specific to school-based therapy services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification and/or credentials in Speech-Language Pathology (e.g., CCC-SLP).
- Experience working within healthcare, pediatrics, CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year), and school settings.
- Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Comfortable providing services without Medicaid billing responsibilities.
