Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required)
- Relevant experience in pediatric settings, with a strong understanding of school-based therapy approaches
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and techniques
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) for Colorado
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students from diverse backgrounds
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct therapy services in both in-person and virtual teletherapy formats as needed
- Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions accordingly
- Consult and collaborate with educators and families to maximize support in both classroom and remote settings
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal requirements for school-based SLP services
