School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Machesney Park, Illinois

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Eligible for Illinois state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience working with elementary-age students highly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and provide speech and language therapy for an elementary caseload, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, document progress, and maintain necessary records
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, administrators, and families to support students’ communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and recommendations
- Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver engaging group and individual therapy sessions
- Monitor student progress and make data-driven adjustments to therapy goals as needed
