Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement
- Experience or training in school-based settings, including elementary, middle, and high school environments
- Strong pediatric experience or a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in SLP (welcomed and supported)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
In this role, responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in grades K-12
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s communication needs
- Providing both direct therapy and consultative services within the school environment
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expertise for student success
