Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland. This full-time role covers both an elementary and a middle school, providing a dynamic and varied work environment. Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Maryland SLP licensure (MD SLP License) is required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting or with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently across elementary and middle school populations.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services within an educational environment for one elementary and one middle school.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of speech and language disorders.
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with educators, families, and other support staff.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and district requirements.
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and other stakeholders to generalize speech and language strategies in the classroom.
This contract offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, supporting a healthy work-life balance throughout the extended assignment. You’ll have the chance to engage with a supportive education team and experience professional growth across diverse age groups and educational settings.
