SLP in Lowell, MA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in a preschool program located in Lowell, MA, with consideration for part-time candidates. This is a contract role running from ASAP through mid-December, designed to support early childhood communication development with a specialized team.
Responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, preparing detailed reports, and delivering targeted speech-language services. The role also involves collaboration through consultations, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), writing goals, and maintaining clear communication with parents and teachers to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Work schedule details:
- 30 hours per week
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Wednesday half-day shift of 4 hours
Qualifications and experience required:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure in the state of Massachusetts
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred
- Proven school-based SLP experience, particularly within preschool or early childhood programs
- Compliance with CORI background check and fingerprints
