What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for Illinois
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience with elementary school populations strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage a full caseload and maintain documentation
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and successful learning outcomes
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress
- Offer guidance and strategies to staff and caregivers regarding students’ communication needs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and case conferences as needed
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
