Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Ohio SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous school-based experience preferred, though strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration are valued
- Familiarity with IEP development and the special education process
- Ability to connect with children of diverse cultural, linguistic, and learning backgrounds
- Strong organization, communication, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic speech/language services to a caseload of K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to develop and implement individualized IEPs
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in line with district and legal requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and staff conferences
- Deliver intervention in both individual and group settings as determined by student needs
- Support students’ social communication and language skills to enhance academic achievement
