Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is highly valued; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in school-based settings
- Knowledge of pediatric speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support positive educational outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and help guide educational goal-setting
- Support students’ social, academic, and communication goals both individually and in group settings
Position Details & Schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week
- 5-day workweek, traditional school calendar
