Position Overview
Full-time, school-based contract role
40 hours/week (8 hours/day)
Location: Los Angeles, CA area
Hourly Pay Range: $59–$71, based on experience
Requirements
For SLP‑CCC:
Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license
CCC from ASHA
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
CTC certification/authorization for school-based services
For SLP‑CF:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Eligibility for California SLP licensure
Ability to obtain required CTC authorization
Must be seeking a Clinical Fellowship placement
For All Candidates:
Compliance with CA Department of Education and district requirements
Background check and fingerprint clearance
Prior school-based experience preferred but not required
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
Develop and implement IEPs
Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse communication needs
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state/district guidelines
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning
