Work collaboratively with staff and families, fostering communication skills that help students thrive academically and socially.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- School-based experience or interest working with students ages 3-21
- Ability to work onsite with a flexible, positive, and professional attitude
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions (individual or group)
- Adapt services to meet the diverse needs of a multicultural student population
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support each student’s goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to the team
