Make a meaningful difference for K-5 students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification in a supportive elementary school environment. This full-time contract position, starting as soon as possible and extending through June 12, 2026, offers you the opportunity to serve a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students with mild to moderate needs. You'll collaborate with passionate educators and supportive families to foster each child’s communication and academic success.
Desired Experience and Credentials:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and CCC credential
- Previous experience in school settings (K-5 preferred)
- Strong knowledge and skills working with mild/moderate communication disorders
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-5 students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain detailed documentation of services and progress
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and professional development
- Adapt interventions and services to support the dynamic needs of a school-based caseload
